K-M seeks stakeholder feedback in superintendent search

The latest news in Kasson-Mantorville’s superintendent search is that the district is seeking stakeholder feedback via a stakeholder survey.
The school board contracted with the Minnesota School Boards Association to guide and provide assistance throughout the superintendent search process.

Local vets receive ‘Quilts of Honor’

Sixteen local veterans were presented with Quilts of Valor at a program held at the Dodge Center American Legion on Veterans Day. The quilts were from the Quilt of Valor national organization.

K-M/Triton gymnasts roll-up program high score
Kasson-Mantorville/Triton’s gymnastics team battled a formidable Caledonia squad, on Friday, December 15. It was the K-M/Triton Varsity kids who emerged victorious, edging Caledonia, and posting a team program high score of 131.125 to 127.4.

Austin man injured in Highway 14 crash

An Austin man suffered non-life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash Thursday, December 16, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Patrol reports said that a 2009 Dodge Caliber was westbound on Highway 14 when it left the road and rolled about 4:30 p.m. Somneuk Boonreuang, 44, Austin, the driver of the vehicle, was taken to the Owatonna Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

PUC public hearings on Dodge County Wind Tuesday in Kasson

Local residents will get a final chance to comment on NextEra Energy’s Dodge County Wind project at two in-person meetings and one remote meeting next week.
