A K-M Bands Christmas

Kasson-Mantorville High School’s Concert Band played “Cowboy Christmas” as one of their selections at the Holiday Concert in December. Also performing were the K-M Jazz Band, 9th grade band, and 10th grade band. The concert was at the Minnesota WI-FI Performing Arts Center and all the bands were directed by Anthony Boldt.

K-M inducts new members into Honor Society

Kasson-Mantorville High School inducted 28 new members in the local chapter of the Minnesota Honor Society on December 3. Advisor Vanessa Jones said that the new members joined the 27 individuals already members.

460 Moose Bagged During 1973 Season
Minnesota moose hunters bagged 460 of the state’s largest big game animals during the 1973 season, the Department of National Resources reports.
The split season was held from September 22 to October 7 and from December 8 to 16. Permits were issued on a drawing basis to 520 hunting parties of four persons each.
