Kasson-Mantorville Area Care and Share organizers weren’t able to top last year’s results, but they still did well fundraising for area families in need of financial assistance.

People in Rochester kept asking them if they might expand, so Jay and Jill started talking about if it was a possibility, and they prayed about it. They looked at the building, and they prayed if this was something they should consider.

When we built our houses and moved in 46 years ago, there were no trees, shrubs, or bushes. Previous to being a housing development, this area had been a corn field. Therefore, anything that is there now is something we put there. So that makes it even worse because we have nobody to blame but ourselves.
