Notice is hereby given that the Mantorville City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on December 12, 2016 in the council chambers at City Hall, 21 – 5th Street East, City of Mantorville, MN to consider, and possibly adopt, the proposed assessment for the City’s costs associated with the charges for attorney’s fees and other costs in the removal of hazardous conditions on property located at: 408 West Street legally described as follows:

Jay Michael Severson, age 50, passed away Nov. 25, 2016 of natural causes. 
Jay was born Nov. 18, 1966 to Lyle and Judith (Fryer) Severson at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Jay graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 1985. After graduation, he attended RCTC in Rochester for one year. 

The memorial service for Daniel D. Jensen, 50, of Kasson, Minn., will be held Thursday, Dec. 1 at 11:00 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Stewartville, Minn., with Rev. Wane Souhrada officiating. Mr. Jensen died at his home, Friday, Nov. 25, of an apparent heart attack.

Joseph Norbert Gartner, 82, of Claremont, Minn., died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016 at Prairie Meadows Senior Living in Kasson, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

Boasting a two-game win steak over the Lakers  that saw the Steele County Blades score a combined 10 goals, Head coach Nick Adamek’s team were searching for a much needed win in USPHL league play. 
After a loss Saturday night, the Blades were searching for answers.
