Question: I have a question in regards to exploring a business idea that has to do with mobile advertising, such as an illuminated board advertising business. I am concerned about the visual distraction for drivers and was wondering if this was allowed.

Kasson-Mantorville’s school board chose a new superintendent to lead the district last week after a second round of interviews with the two finalists. Tuesday night the board approved the contract with Theodore Ihns, currently the superintendent of the Indianola Community Schools in Indianola, Iowa.

A wise man once said, “It isn’t what happens that’s important, it is how you handle it.” Obviously, I wasn’t that wise man. Like many other people, I tend to overreact to situations that don’t call for such a reaction.

I’ve had the opportunity to serve on the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial Association (LEMA) Board of Directors for the past six years. LEMA is an all-volunteer run organization that was established back in 1974. The 14 board members and 35 Honor Guard members represent Law Enforcement Officers, survivors of fallen officers, and Law Enforcement supporters.

Do you hear those loud sounds? Do those sounds hurt your ears? Yes, but what can I do about those loud sounds? Fire trucks as they rush to a fire or some emergency. Ambulances as they hurry down the road to an emergency. Trains traveling the rails taking their loads to many destinations. The loud noise the crowd makes at a sporting event. Jets flying overhead as they take people to many destinations.
