Paul Bernard Christians, 71, of Waltham, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Austin. Paul was born on August 8, 1950 in Austin, to Bernhard and Gladys (Mahnke) Christians. He graduated from Austin High School in 1968 and went on to attend Austin Vo-Tech school. He served in the Navy Seabees in Vietnam from 1970-1971.
On August 10, 1974 he married Joan Cepelak at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield.

Joyce B. Sievert, 88 of Utica, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Benedictine — St. Anne in Winona.
Joyce was born on June 21, 1933 in Rushford to Eli and Sadie (Hawkinson) Glenna. Joyce graduated from the VoTech’s cosmetology program. She married Russel Denzer, had six children together and lived in Minnesota City. They later divorced.

Elmer John Hungate, 84, of Dodge Center, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Methodist Campus in Rochester.
Elmer was born November 6, 1936, to William Lester and Adah Ruth (Robison) Hungate in Rock Island, Ill. He graduated from United Township High School in East Moline, Ill., in 1954.

Douglas Gary Hindal, 61, of Zumbrota, died Monday, August 2, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Roberta P. Hall, 99, of West Concord, died, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center. She was born on November 14, 1921 on a farm near West Concord the daughter of Frank and Thelma (Andrews) Pirkl. She grew up in West Concord and graduated from high school in 1939 as the valedictorian of her class. She continued her education at business school in the Twin Cities before moving to California.

Mary Jean (Johnson) Klapperich, 88, of West Concord passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Zumbrota Care Center in Zumbrota.
Mary was born on September 18, 1932 in Owatonna, the daughter of Raymond and Irene (Malek) Johnson. She graduated from Owatonna High School in 1950 and attended Minneapolis Business School. She returned to Owatonna where she worked at the Owatonna Hospital as a Medical Secretary.
