George W. Knudson, 87, Dodge Center

George W. Knudson peacefully passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2021,  at Fairview Care Center with family by his side. Born June 9, 1933 in Wasioja Township and raised in that area until 12 years of age, he then moved around the area with his father but graduated from Dodge Center High School.

Eugenia Woroncow, 102, Dodge Center

Eugenia Woroncow, a longtime resident of South River, N.J., passedaway peacefully on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the age of 102, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, where she had lived since 2012.Eugenia Anisimovna Kuzmenkova was born on Nov. 15, 1918 inDemidov, Smolenskaya Oblast, in Russia: a region which was later occupied by Nazi troops during World War II.

Michael Rae ‘Mikey’ Helmbrecht, Gunnison, Colorado

Blaine Ezra Delzer, 57, Mantorville

Blaine Ezra Delzer, 57, of Mantorville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester.
Blaine was born on Sept. 8, 1963, in Rochester, to David and Marlys (Langworthy) Delzer. In 1982 he graduated from Dodge Center High School and then received a degree from UW River Falls in agricultural science. He worked in many different positions in agriculture. 

Kenneth Odell Parker, 68, Kasson

Kenneth Odell Parker, 68, of Kasson, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 23, 2021.
Ken was born on Jan. 31, 1953 in Winnsboro, La. to James “JN” and Opal “Maureen” (Walker) Parker. They moved to Sulphur, La. when Ken was young. He attended and graduated high school in Sulphur.

Eugene (Gene) E. Ludlow, 92, Kasson

Eugene (Gene) E. Ludlow passed away peacefully at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie, on May 19, 2021, at 92 years of age.
Gene worked for the Mayo Clinic for many years before retiring in 1989. He was a veteran and long-time member of the American Legion.

Stanley Leroy Tompkins, 89, Kasson

On May 16, 2021, our grandfather, father, friend and so much more left to be Our Lord.
Stanley Leroy Tompkins was one of the most stubborn, hard working man most have ever met. Born on January 19, 1932 in Byron, he stayed close to his roots and raised two sons and a daughter in Kasson with his loving wife, Darlene.
