Curtis Sandeno, 75, Kasson

Curtis Sandeno passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at home with his wife by his side.
Curtis was born April 24, 1940 in Kenyon. He grew up in rural Kasson and married Patricia Blood on Oct. 14, 1961 in Mantorville. They were married 54 years and had two children, Jeff and Penny.

OHS adapted floor hockey is state bound

There was a lot riding on the Owatonna High School’s adapted floor hockey team during their last playoff game against the Mounds View/Irondale/Roseville Rams on Thursday, March 3. Their win earned them the south’s first seed at the state tournament.
The Huskies pulled through with a 13-4 win against the Rams, but the game was a nail-biter at the start.

Robb, Moen take home state titles for Owatonna

It was a successful weekend for the Owatonna wrestling team at the state tournament over the weekend as Peyton Robb earned his second state individual championship and Brandon Moen won his first for the Huskies.
