The Triton Elementary School gym was a sea of posters filled with questions and conclusions about scientific questions last Thursday as the fourth and fifth grade students presented the results of their science projects.

West Concord Council accepts Hanson resignation

West Concord’s City Council last week officially accepted the resignation of City Administrator Kay Hanson. Council members also received the 2015 auditor’s report that showed that the Municipal Liquor Store again finished the year with negative numbers.

BREAKING NEWS: A wild chase ends in arrest of boy

A wild police chase involving a stolen cement truck ended without any injuries Sunday afternoon in Dodge Center.
Deputies took an unidentified boy into custody after the hour-long chase through residential streets in Dodge Center and county roads between Dodge Center and Kasson. 

K-M construction on time and under budget

 
 Overall, the massive construction project that the Kasson-Mantorville School District took on is right on time and remains under budget. 

Police investigate attempted abduction

 
 Police in Kasson continue to investigate a report of an attempted abduction in the northeast part of town involving a 10-year-old girl on her way home from school. 
The alleged incident took place March 10 around 3:50 p.m. east of K-M Schools near the bicycle paths along 16th Street. There was a 10 minute delay in reporting the incident, according to police chief Ken Schuck. 

Triton choirs perform at Solo and Ensemble contest in Austin

Members of the Triton High School choirs took part in the Solo and Ensemble contest at Riverland Community College in Austin last week.
