James Alfred Hildebrandt, 74, Mantorville

James “Jim” Alfred Hildebrandt, 74, of Mantorville, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, at Cottagewood Senior Communities in Rochester of complications with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).
Jim was born June 4, 1946, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Faribault, to Alfred and Mabel (Skolness) Hildebrandt of rural Kenyon. Like most farm boys, he helped with chores in the barn and the fields.

Bernice Jeanette Giesler, 101, passed away on Dec.13, 2020, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield.
Bernice was born on April 15, 1919, the daughter of Helmer and Clara (Moe) Hauglum in Dodge County.  She was united in marriage to Floyd Giesler on July 11, 1945 at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Marlyn Ann Schroeder (nee Peterson), 86, of Kasson died Nov. 28, 2020, of Alzheimer’s disease. A graveside service was held for immediate family on Friday, Dec. 4 at Holden Lutheran Church, Kenyon, Minnesota, officiated by Pastor Nirmala Reinschmidt of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kasson.

Carole Marie Larson, 80, of Kasson, passed away on Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester.
Carole was born on Sept. 13, 1940 in Faribault to Carl and Wilehmina (Westphal) Quimby. She married Lawrence Larson on Dec. 18, 1959 in Mantorville. Together they had one son, Scott Larson.

Joan Betty Naylor, 87, of Kasson, formerly of Claremont, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020 in Farmington from oral cancer.
Joan was born on April 13, 1933 in Elysian, to Joseph and Laura (Worrel) Warner. She grew up in Claremont.

Constance ‘Connie’ Yvonne Svenby, 85, Fergus Falls

Constance “Connie” Yvonne Svenby, 85, of Fergus Falls, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, at LB Broen Home in Fergus Falls.
Connie was born on May 20, 1935, in Rochester to Vernon and Lorna (Osborn) Fuchs. She grew up in Kasson where she was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church.  She graduated from Kasson High School in 1953.
