Bernice Jeanette Giesler, 101, Hayfield

Bernice Jeanette Giesler, 101, passed away on Dec.13, 2020, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield.
Bernice was born on April 15, 1919, the daughter of Helmer and Clara (Moe) Hauglum in Dodge County.  She was united in marriage to Floyd Giesler on July 11, 1945 at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church.
Bernice was a teacher in the Hayfield School District for 48 years. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. After retirement she and her husband wintered in Sun City, Ariz. 
Bernice is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; one brother, Rudy Hauglum and two sisters, Inez Hauglum and Cecile Hegna.
Visitation was Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st Street NE in Hayfield with the funeral service following with Rev. Paul Hauschild officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield.
