Incident leads to Triton lockdown Friday

An incident in Dodge Center caused Triton Public Schools to go into a lockdown Friday afternoon. 

Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose released the following statement on Friday night:

Now that I’ve got your attention, you will soon find this isn’t going to be about what you expected. The nakedness I observed recently were the trees all around town. My wife had gone into the grocery store, and I sat in the car so it could keep running and get warmer. Despite being below zero, the bright sunshine that reflected off the snow created a feeling of warmth.

The Dodge County girls hockey team hopes to repeat as Class 1A State Champions.
And their quest back to the Grand Casino Arena starts on Saturday.
The Wildcats, a top seed in the Section 1A tournament, earned a bye, meaning the Wildcats need only two wins to earn a spot in the tournament.

I was riding a dopamine high last Friday morning.
We were in Brooklyn Park for the annual Minnesota Newspaper Association Convention. The night before, we took the Mills Trophy back to Owatonna for the second year in a row.
The Mills Trophy is a highly coveted award in the world of print newspapers. It is given to the best weekly newspaper in Minnesota each year.
