The ELLINGTON TOWNSHIP ANNUAL MEETING AND OFFICER ELECTIONS will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 at the Ellington Town Hall, Dodge County, Minnesota.

The Blooming Prairie wrestling team bowed out of the section team tournament, losing 45-21 to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva at Kenyon on Thursday, Feb. 11.
Five local matmen won their bouts, but the overall strength and the forfeits to the Panthers proved too much for the locals. The individual section tournament is this coming Saturday, Feb. 20.

Eleanor I. Solseth-Kittleson, age 94 of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, died peacefully Friday evening, Feb. 5, 2016, at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, Minnesota surrounded by her loving family.
Bob Lindgren, of Kasson, has driven over 4 million miles in a truck; all with the same company. After 32 years and many miles, he still loves what he does.
Lindgren was recently in the running for the Minnesota Trucking Association’s Driver of the Year title in January after being recognized as last year’s March Driver of the Month.
