Jimmy’s returns to Kasson

The family that years ago owned the franchising/licensing company for the Jimmy’s Pizza restaurants including the one in Kasson, has returned with a food truck called Jimmy’s Pizza and Broaster Chicken. It opened in early November.

I Was Thinking... Did You Hear That?

More and more of my friends now have hearing aids. It seems to be a normal progression for people our age. So far, I’ve resisted getting my hearing checked because I hear just fine, or at least I think so.

How does Santa do this every year?

I spent much of Saturday traveling around Dodge County. That’s become sort of a tradition the first Saturday in December as that is the day most of the communities choose to hold their Christmas events.
I didn’t get to stay very long in any of the communities but it was fun seeing how they each try to bring their community together for a holiday event.

Keeping the church tradition live

I have been blessed this year to add a large church to my outdoor holiday display. And amid it all, I found a couple guardian angels from Owatonna to help unwrap the magic.

Finding peace in our Christmas traditions

My wife and I have been together since 2018, and ever since then we have been trying to come up with different traditions to do together.
She is from southern Minnesota, I am from Rhode Island, so as you can imagine, it becomes difficult at times, especially during the holidays.
