The Kasson-Mantorville track and field team has a tough draw when it comes to qualifying for the state meet every year. In the current twoclass system, the KoMets are mixed into Class AA where they have to compete against schools that have enrollments that dwarf the talent pool that K-M has. 
 

The Triton track and field team had a great day at the HVL Championship Meet in Stewartville on May 13 as eight members claimed all-conference status during the event. The recognition, which is awarded to the top two finishers in each event, went to six boys and two girls and shows the type of dedication that the Cobras have put forth this season.

The Kasson-Mantorville track and field team has plenty of spectacular athletes, but at this point of the season, everybody is trending toward their peak level of performance. On May 13, K-M had one of its best opportunities to showcase the progress they have made throughout the season during the HVL Championship Meet in Stewartville.

The Kasson-Mantorville golf team continued its steady improvement throughout the season as it took part in the first HVL meets of the year last week. While the girls boasted a pair of top 13 finishes in Pine Island, the boys also had a solid tournament in Hayfield as well making it a good week for the team.

Even though Kasson-Mantorville track and field coach Jared Pittman took over the program this spring, the argument could be made that his work has made an impact long before succeeding Eric Myran.

The Kasson-Mantorville powerlifting team capped off a banner year for the program by heading to the High School National Powerlifting Meet in Scranton, Pennsylvania last week. K-M had already qualified for this meet which featured lifters from 20 different states thanks to their strong performance at the Minnesota state meet a couple weeks prior, but were seeking more accolades against tough competition.
