Robert ‘Tex’ Gene Madsen, 80, Kasson

Robert “Tex” Gene Madsen, 80, of Kasson, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Saint Marys Campus in Rochester.
Tex was born on Oct. 21, 1940 in Claremont, to Louie and Clara Myrtle (Howard) Madsen. He attended Claremont schools. He worked as a truck driver for many years.  

Muriel H. Weber, 77, Mantorville

Muriel H. Weber, 77, of Mantorville, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2021 at the Mayo Clinic Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester. 
Muriel was born Nov. 14, 1943 to Hazel (Mickow) and Gordon Haas in Lake City. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961 and then attended North West Institute of Medical Technique Minneapolis, graduating in 1963. 

Helen B. Peterson (Schmoll), 88, Claremont

Helen B. Peterson (Schmoll) a long-time resident of Claremont, passed away April 16, 2021 at Ecumen Seasons of Apple Valley. She was born April 28, 1932, in Kathryn, N.D., the 9th of 11 children of Ernest and Elisabeth Schmoll (Utecht). She graduated in 1950 from Dodge Center High School.
In 1955 she married Jack Peterson. They began their married life in Owatonna, lived in Dodge Center and then spent 60 plus years in Claremont.

Deanna Lois Sorenson, 80, Mazeppa

Surrounded by her daughters, Deanna Lois Sorenson passed away on April 19, 2021 after a long battle with multiple health issues.
She was born in Rochester on March 4, 1941 to Elmer and Lois Sorenson. Deanna spent time living in California, Louisiana and West Virginia before moving back home to Minnesota. Though Deanna’s health had been failing for years, her joy for life and spirit kept her pushing through the pain and set-backs.

Catherine M. Behounek passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Susie’s Place in Hayfield.

Beverly Jean Stucky, 79, Kasson

Beverly Jean Stucky, 79, of Kasson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at her home. 
Beverly was born on March 29, 1942 in Tracy to Harold and Ebba (Jessen) Timgren. She attended Milroy and Redwood Falls school. She worked in general service information desk and coat check at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. On Jan. 12, 1984 she married James Stucky. They shared their home together in Kasson.

Betty Pauline Bradford, 89, Dodge Center

Betty Pauline Bradford, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center.
Betty was born on March 26, 1932 to Lucius and Ella Lewis in Hayfield. After graduating from Hayfield High School, she met and married Charles Bradford in December 1950. Chuck and Betty made Mantorville their home for many years.
