Ronald Lloyd Burnes passed away at his home on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Ron had been battling Parkinsons disease for the last 14 years but died mostly of natural causes on New Year’s Day.

Marian Ruth Larson, 92, of Kasson, passed away on January 22, 2022, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield.
Marian was born on October 23, 1929, the daughter of Clyde and Alvina (Wiebusch) Beltz in rural Lake City. She was baptized and confirmed at the Lincoln Lutheran Church in rural Lake City, and graduated from Lake City High School in 1947.

Ross James Abel, 66, of Bonita Springs, Fla., passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
Ross was born January 20, 1955 to Jim and Elsie Abel of Kasson where he spent the majority of his life.
He was a volunteer firefighter for the Kasson Fire Department for 21 years.

Betty Jo Wilson, 86, Kasson, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Homestead Hospice in Owatonna.
Betty was born on April 2, 1935, in Rochester to Joseph and Bessie Clark. Betty graduated from Lourdes High School in 1953 and went on to marry her husband, Robert Wilson. They resided in rural Dexter where Betty was a homemaker and raised their two sons, Kim and Kerry.

Marlene Carol Shafer, 79, of Rochester, passed away at her home on Friday, January 14, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home (801 7th Street SE, Kasson, with visitation one hour prior to the service time.

Richard James DeFlieger, 92, of West Concord, died Sunday, January 9, 2022, at his home.
Richard was born September 1, 1929 in Grand Meadow, the son of William and Isabelle (Johnson) DeFlieger.
