Mary Catherine (Mulligan) Apfel, 79, of Mantorville, MN passed away at home in the early morning of Saturday, February 14, 2026.

Seventy-nine members of the Kasson-Mantorville High School and Middle School FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) chapter competed at the Minnesota FCCLA Southeast Region STAR Events Competition on Tuesday, Feb. 3, in Stewartville.

Daniel Victor Schandorff, 48, of Stewartville, died from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Feb. 5, 2026.
