One thing we all have in common is getting older. From the moment of birth, we are embarking on a journey to the end of life. During our youth, that end of time is rarely considered. We have our whole life in front of us. We have all the time in the world. But how quickly that changes. Without understanding how, we suddenly realize we have fewer days ahead than behind. While aging isn’t optional, choosing how we age is.

Kasson-Mantorville graduate earns Sheriff’s Association Scholarship

The Minnesota Sheriff’s Association received 54 applications for its annual state scholarship program, according to Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose.
Out of those, 20 applicants were awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
One of those chosen was Kasson-Mantorville graduate Owen Nelson.

Tentis named Minnesota Teacher of the Year candidate

Colleen Tentis, a Kasson-Mantorvlle kindergarten teacher, is in the running for Minnesota Teacher of the Year.
The list of finalists for the honor was announced recently by Education Minnesota.
Tentis is currently in her 19th year with the Kasson-Mantorville Schools.
