Notice is hereby given to the voters of Canisteo Township, County Dodge, State of Minnesota: That the annual election of township officers and the Annual Township Meeting will be held on, Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the township hall. 
In the event of inclement weather, the meeting and the election will be postponed until the third Tuesday of March - March 21, 2017- same hours. 

For Owatonna senior Jay Sullivan, basketball has been an integral part of his life and prep sports career. 
Now, Sullivan and the Owatonna High School boys basketball team are gearing up to put together a run in the upcoming Section 1-AAAA tournament.

St. Paul - After a display of sheer domination in his first three matches, senior 182-pounder Brandon Moen was one match away from collecting his second-straight state title.
Only a rematch with Hastings’ Trey Rogers stood in the way. In their last meeting, Moen was able to control the match to a 5-3 decision.
This time, it was all Moen.

A Rochester man has been charged in connection with the drug overdose death of a Dodge Center man in early December.
Donte D’Andre Wilkins, 19, faces two counts of second-degree and third-degree murder in the death of Tyler Reed Gray. Wilkins appeared in Dodge County District Court Friday morning where the judge set bail at $250,000 unconditional or $125,000 with conditions.

St. Paul – Last year, Medford’s Willie VonRuden was just happy to qualify for the state tournament.
This season, boasting a record of 27-8, the young Tiger was looking to do more. If only he had more time.

St. Paul - The importance of having a strong showing in the opening round of the state tournament can be the difference between being on the podium, or watching from the seats of the Xcel Energy Center. 
For five members of the Owatonna wrestling team, the podium is still in reach.
