OWATONNA – After a 42-6 dismantling of Rochester John Marshall, the Owatonna High School football team looked to keep the train chugging full steam ahead against Mankato East. 
For the second-straight game, the Huskies defense stole the show. 

The Class AA Showcase tournament is one of the biggest events on the high school volleyball calendar. With most of the top teams in the class competing in Burnsville over the weekend, it’s an opportunity to see where teams are at during this point of the season and try to learn and adapt from the data point they’ve acquired.

By a simple eye test, the Kasson-Mantorville football team’s win over Byron in their previous game was ugly. In the type of game that was a grind it out slugfest, the KoMets battled and perservered thanks to a late eld goal that helped them escape their rivals with a 19-16 win. Although the result was nice, the process was one that needed refinement.

My mother and father couldn't agree on a house. 
My mother was a city person and my dad was a country type of person. Somewhere along the way they met, got married, bought a house, and then had a couple kids. Something most people don’t actually know about my parents is their wedding anniversary.

One of my favorite fall activites is heading out to the apple orchard and loading up on some delicious apples.

“I’m actually really excited to support the people, because they’re part of our community,” SADD o cer Amy Buehler said. “It’s good to let them know that we’re here if they need anything.”

Kasson-Mantorville High School students gathered Friday, Sept. 22 for some pre- Homecoming Week fun in the Minnesota WiFi Performing Arts Center.
Student council members dressed up to advertise the big week’s Dress-Up Days: “Millionaire Monday”; “Jersey Day” (Tuesday); “Color Wars”; “Beach-Tourist Day:; and “KoMet Friday.”
A Rock, Paper, Scissors contest also was held, and the Homecoming Court was introduced.
