The Kasson youngster started out as a “Cloverbud” (4-H members in kindergarten through second grade) and is starting his sixth year in the organization.

There is nothing like a Friday night football game.
I have next to no idea how the sport works, other than the objective of the game itself. 
Where I come from, football will always be second to hockey, but it will never come last. 
Kasson-Mantorville loves football. 
It’s an entire event, and the amount of time and effort everyone puts into each game astounds me every time.

We’ve all likely heard about the Black Lives Matter movement involving large groups of people over the past few years campaigning against violence and systemic racism. The group regularly holds protests against police killings of black people and broader issues of racial profiling and police brutality.

Homecoming week is an exciting time for any area high school. As many alumni and the community get involved to help celebrate their local traditions, there are several events that take place. From the coronation of the homecoming king and queen to the parade later in the afternoon, everything has a certain itinerary that has been tried and true over the years with the culmination of the Friday night football game. 

The Kasson-Mantorville football team knows a thing or two about adversity. As they came up through the lower levels of the football program, they weren’t seeing a lot of success. With three wins in each of their seventh and eighth grade seasons, the KoMets had to work hard to where they are today as one of the top-ranked teams in the state.

Information is power. Knowledge and experience are the factors that in uence change and determine whether those changes will stand up over time.
