Leslie Ray Head, 76, of Kasson died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020 at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. 
Les was born Jan. 4, 1944 in Rochester  to Howard and Josephine (Cady) Head.

Michael Francis Kidder, 59, of Owatonna, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020 while enjoying his passion for farming.
He was born Aug. 23, 1961 in Owatonna the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Ballstadt) Kidder. Mike graduated from Claremont High School in 1979.

Patricia Kay Olevson, 70, of Kasson, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma.
Pat was born on May 14, 1950 in Skyberg, to Kenneth and June (Keller) Vangness. She graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 1968. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary Olevson on Oct. 4, 1969 in Kasson. 

Patricia Molde, 79, of rural Byron, passed away on Tuesday , Oct. 27, 2020, from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, at Meadow Lakes Senior Living in Rochester, where she had resided for the past two years.
Patricia Correen Strain was born on March 10, 1941 to Allen and Leona (O’Brien) Strain, at home, in Kalmer Township, Olmsted County. She was the 11th child born into a family of 13 children.  

Last Wednesday evening I received a text stating that someone had published an announcement supporting President Trump on the DCI Facebook site and concluded the notice that the president would be at the Rochester International Airport for a rally with a “Woot! Woot!”

2020 has presented many obstacles and KM football is learning to face those obstacles head on.  Covid-19 has struck their football schedule yet again. This time, it was their scheduled opponent that needed to cancel the game. KM learned off this early on, giving them time to find a replacement game. Owatonna, Eastview, and Albany were just a few of their options.  

As of last Friday the Kasson-Mantorville school district had reported no positive COVID-19 cases for three weeks, according to KM Supt. Mark Matuska.
