Efforts are underway to enable Chaotic Good Brewing Company in Kasson to resume operations.
Chaotic Brewing owner Scott Stroh posted on the company’s Facebook page last week that a new team has been put together and is “ready to resume operations with the same goals of community and fellowship along with some new methods and personalities.”

For over five decades, the city of Hayfield has taken care of the Hayfield Community Pool, which includes the softball field.
But an agreement for the school district to purchase the softball field for $1 has led to a discovery that set the sale back.

It has been a very active couple of weeks at the Capitol, working to complete the policy and budget bills in committee. It was nice to get your emails and calls giving your input. On the right, Ethan Lee, took a turn carrying the cross on Good Friday along the road leading up to South Zumbro Lutheran Church. Members and friends of the church took turns carrying the heavy cross as a reminder of Jesus carrying the cross to the crucifixion site. Readings were given at stops along the way by Pastor Pete Wyttenbach and members who told what crosses they were bearing and why they took their turn to carry it.
 

There have apparently been some life changes for Lois Riess, the Dodge County woman who is serving a life sentence for the 2018 murder of her husband.
Riess applied for a name change with the state of Minnesota, citing PTSD and mental issues “stemming from her married name Riess.”
Incarcerated people are not allowed to “hide or defraud” by changing their name and must list any felony convictions.
