Kasson brewery hopes to resume operations

Efforts are underway to enable Chaotic Good Brewing Company in Kasson to resume operations.
Chaotic Brewing owner Scott Stroh posted on the company’s Facebook page last week that a new team has been put together and is “ready to resume operations with the same goals of community and fellowship along with some new methods and personalities.”
A few more partners are needed, the post said, and they are looking for five to ten people willing to invest in the business. The new team wants to “make Chaotic Good a hub of community, fellowship and joy once again.”
Chaotic Good Brewing in Kasson closed its doors in December 2024. Stroh said at that time that the business was for sale and there was an interest in purchasing the company if partners could be found.
Chaotic Good Brewing began four years ago when Stroh, who said he had been brewing beer as a hobby for years, decided to start the business while still working as a teacher in Rochester. Two years ago, he decided to move the business into a building where he could serve beer on the premises and purchased the former car wash in Kasson and remodeled it into the brewery.
Stroh said in an email this week that there would be more information on the future of Chaotic Good Brewing coming soon.
