Patricia Ann Ille, 83 of Blooming Prairie, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Prairie Manor Care Center. 
She was born Oct. 31, 1932, near Harmony, the daughter of Wallace and Helen (Madsen) Hutton. She attended school in Harmony, graduating in 1950. She then attended the University of Minnesota graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics.

The Mantorville Theatre Company will kick off its third show in the “Nunsense” series: “Meshuggah-Nuns” for its Holiday Musical on Friday, Nov. 20. 
Priscilla Ruemping, a MTC board member, says the board wanted to do the show because the other two shows from the series were successful.

For five days Kasson-Mantorville High School students were given another choice at lunch; in fact, students tasted recipes created and made by their very own classmates. 
On Nov. 5, 6 and Nov. 9-11, five groups from the Food Innovations course took over the kitchen to make and serve prototype recipes they worked hard to develop all quarter long. 

The county building construction project is moving into its final phases, Architect John McNamara told Dodge County board members last week as he asked for approval of change order requests.
“Overall things are going well,” he said. Work has now moved into the last of three phases, remodeling of the old courthouse.

The investigation into alleged improper actions by a township board in Dodge County is being handled by the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office, and a decision could come forth within the next few weeks.

In the past, the Dodge County Wildcats have been a team that has not lacked offensive firepower. With players like Dana Rasmussen (44 goals in 2014-15), Jacie Hoehn (eight goals) and Brede Postier (seven goals), it wasn’t uncommon for the Wildcats to engage in offensively fueled battles.

Since the 2013 season, the Dodge County Wildcats girls hockey program has produced plenty of talent that has gone on to play collegiately. What started with Zumbrota-Mazeppa’s Lydia Wagner committing to play at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2013 turned into seven players committing to play college hockey.
