Randy L. Poffenberger, age 68, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at his home in Kasson. The memorial service was held December 16, 2016, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 301 8th Ave NW in Kasson. 

Velma Jean Pettey of Mantorville, Minn., passed away Wed., Dec. 7, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus in Rochester, surrounded by her family.
Pettey came into this world in a snowstorm, Feb. 2, 1936 on the small farm that is now Oxbow Park, outside of Byron, Minn. Her parents were Miles and Frances Brannan.

Marilyn Elaine (Paulson) Fiegel, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 at Maple Manor Healthcare and Rehab  in Rochester, Minn., where she resided for the past five years. 

The funeral Service for LeAnn K. Coller, 59, of Dodge Center, Minn. will be at 2:00 p.m.  on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Evanger Lutheran Church in rural Sargeant, Minn. with Rev. Dwight Dobell officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Coller died on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, following a lengthy illness with Pulmonary hypertension, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Rochester, St.

Jay Michael Severson, age 50, passed away Nov. 25, 2016 of natural causes. 
Jay was born Nov. 18, 1966 to Lyle and Judith (Fryer) Severson at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Jay graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 1985. After graduation, he attended RCTC in Rochester for one year. 

The memorial service for Daniel D. Jensen, 50, of Kasson, Minn., will be held Thursday, Dec. 1 at 11:00 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Stewartville, Minn., with Rev. Wane Souhrada officiating. Mr. Jensen died at his home, Friday, Nov. 25, of an apparent heart attack.
