The Triton Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducting five individuals, and the 2010 Triton Football team, during its 2025 Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The five individuals being inducted includes Romell Matejcek (Berg), Zach Erdmann, Caleb Rissman, Damon Andrews, and Gary Miler.
On Saturday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m. the inductees will be recognised during halftime at the boys varsity basketball team.
 

The Kasson-Mantorville girls recently competed at the Rochester Century invite last week.
In the 100 pound weight class Eliana O`Donoghue finished in third place, Madelyn Schwirtz finished fourth in the 106 pound weight class, in the 112 pound weight class Alivija Henaman finished in seventh place, Kamryn Berge finished third in the 118 pound weight class, and Kaydee Fitch finished in sixth place.

The Byron gymnastics team scored 161.6250 points last week at the 2025 True Team meet at Big Lake High School last week.
In the all around event, Sydney Portner scored 34.3750 points, Olivia O’Brien scored 33.0500 points, Ella Ott scored 33 points, and Ava Mertesdorf scored 30.775 points.
Portner scored a 9.15 in the vault, O’Brien scored a 9.075, and Ott scored a 8.75, and Mertesdorf scored a 8.675.

The Dodge County boys hockey team was defeated by Little Falls last week 6-3.
In the loss Dylan Klomps, Evan Hain, and Dylan Allen all had one goal in the game.
Gabe Coshenet had two assists in the game,Cohen McNeilus had an assist, Allen had one, and Isiah Holtermann had an assist in the game.
Behind the net Mason VanBenschoten stopped 26 out of 32 shots.
The Wildcats also fell to Northern Lakes last week 5-1.

Many Minnesotans visit state parks and hit the trails in summer, but winter outdoor activities are just as fun. To help people plan winter visits to state parks, recreation areas and trails, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources shares top ways to have fun this winter, with or without snow.

A corps of guides are now trained to bring nature-based therapy to youth experiencing trauma in southeast Minnesota. The eleven guides participated in The Healing Forest project sponsored by Project Get Outdoors (Project GO), a Wabasha-based nonprofit working to connect underrepresented youth to nature.
