Kasson-Mantorville’s school board made the right decision last week when they approved a new two-year contract with the Kasson Police Department for a school resource officer (SRO).

Those principles became the bedrock of our nation, a roadmap of America’s purpose, and the foundation for a new way of governing rooted in the importance of working together.

Inflation, an influx of illegals causing a burgeoning border crisis, high gas/diesel prices, rising mortgage rates, food shortages, and a host of other issues are causing citizens pain.

For 34 years the Friendship Wagon Train has been traveling through southern Minnesota and this year it will begin its journey at the Dodge County Fairgrounds, raising funds for Minnesota Special Olympics.

We’ve had a number of inquiries from parents in the KM district asking about School Resource Program. These questions are in response to the district’s posting for a school security officer and a letter sent to parents this week about their intentions.
