Anita Alma Senjem, 104, Hayfield

 Anita Alma Senjem, 104, passed away on October 8, 2022, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield. 
Anita was born on August 31, 1918, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Milius) Matter in Waltham. She attended Waltham School and graduated from Hayfield High School.
Anita was united in marriage to Ralph Senjem on August 20, 1940, at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Waltham.

Joann Alice Zelinski, 89, Rochester

Joann Alice Zelinski, 89, died on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at River Bend Memory Care.
Joann was born on December 14, 1932 to Keith and Dorothy (Wilberg) Caswell in Anoka.
She graduated from Mantorville High School. Joann married Robert Zelinski in Mantorville and they had five children. They were married for 60 years. Robert died in June of 2014. She was a homemaker on the family farm. 

James ‘Jim’ Allen Ness, 85, Kasson

James “Jim” Allen Ness, 85, of Kasson, died on Monday, October 3, 2022, at his home in rural Kasson.
Jim was born on the family farm on March 19, 1937, in rural Dodge County, to Norman and Alice (Osmundson) Ness. He was baptized and confirmed at South Zumbro Lutheran Church where he was a lifetime member.

Betty Ann Brandli, 86, Kasson

Betty Ann Brandli, age 86 of Kasson went to heaven on October 4, 2022. She was born on February 20, 1936 in Mexico, Missouri, the daughter of Clarence and Agnes Weber. 
Betty graduated in 1954 from Owatonna High School. She married David Splittstoesser and they had five children: Douglas, David, Denise, Debra and Darin. They later divorced and she married Jerry Bluhm and later divorced. 

Betty (Claude) Ziegler, 97, Dodge Center

Betty (Claude)Ziegler, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many ended her journey on this earth on September 24, 2022 at the Fairview Care Center at Dodge Center, surrounded by family.
 
Betty was born in Rochester on December 3, 1924 to Louis and Bernetta (Huey) Claude. Her father had been Rochester’s Chief of Police in the 1930s and a graduate of the FBI National Police Academy.
 

Kimberly Rose Lewis, 61, Kasson

Kimberly Rose Lewis, age 61, of Kasson, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
 
Kim was born August 23, 1961, in Rochester, to John and Ivadell (Eberhart) Lewis. She grew up in Mantorville and attended Kasson-Mantorville High School. At a young age, Kimberly’s mother became unable to care for the family so Kim began to help with those responsibilities.
 

Marlene June Riess, 92, Hayfield

Marlene June Riess, 92, passed away on September 24, 2022, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield. 
 
Marlene was born on July 4, 1930, to Arthur and Irma (Lau) Behl in Freeborn County. 
 
Marlene went to high school in Northwood, Iowa. She worked at the Kahler Hospital before marrying Clarence Riess on July 24, 1948, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester.
