Craig Daryl Anderson, 65, Dodge Center

Craig Daryl Anderson of Dodge Center, MN passed away on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, at the age of 65. Craig was born on August 13th, 1957, in Mora, MN to J Richard and Violet Anderson. He graduated from Braham High School in 1976 and then attended Bethel University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in music education. Craig started his career at Echo-Woodlake Schools and did some substitute teaching in Mora, MN.

Lawrence ‘Larry’ James Butler, 65, Dodge Center

Lawrence “Larry” James Butler 65, of Dodge Center, passed away on January 2, 2023 at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was born on November 26, 1957, in Faribault, to his loving parents James and Bonnie (Knudson) Butler.
Larry was married to his best friend Betty Jane Butler (Bucher). Betty and Larry met on the Al Quie trail ride in 1976 doing what they loved, trail riding. They were married on October 4, 1980, in Kasson.

Shawn T. Lewis, 57, from Kasson passed away peacefully at his home after a two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on July 23rd, 1965, in Cresco, IA. Shawn was the eldest son of Elgin Jr. and Connie Lewis. He graduated as valedictorian from Leonard High-School (Leonard, Texas) in 1983 and earned his accounting degree from East Texas State University in 1987.

Janet Helen Head, 78, Kasson

Janet Helen Head, 78, of Kasson, Minnesota died Wednesday, December 21, 2022 surrounded by family at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center.
​Janet was born May 1, 1944 in Iowa to Hans and Helen (Poffenberger) Schroeder. On November 3, 1963, she married Leslie R Head in Kasson. The couple first lived on a small farm outside of Dodge Center until 1977 then moving into town. In 1999 they moved to Kasson.
