Janice Hackenmiller 81, Stacyville, IA

Janice Marion Hackenmiller, age 81, of Stacyville, IA, died Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will hold a public celebration of her life at a later date. A private graveside service was held at the Visitation Catholic Church Cemetery with Father Raymond Burkle officiating.

John S. Peterson, 94, Owatonna

John S. Peterson, 94, of Owatonna passed away peacefully at Prairie Manor in Blooming Prairie on April 7, 2020. 
The memorial service will be held at a later date at Sacred Heart Church with full military honors at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Judith A. Hassig 78, Davenport

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Judith A. Hassig, 78, of Davenport, were held on Friday, April 10. Burial was at Davenport Memorial Park.
Judith Ann Churchward was born to Harriet and Cecil Churchward in Rochester on April 15, 1941. She passed away on April 7, 2020 after a long battle with cancer.
Her father had been a farmer later becoming a house painter. Her mother was a one-room country school teacher.

Marilynn Fiebiger, 89, Blooming Prairie

Marilynn Grace Fiebiger, age 89 of Blooming Prairie, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020, at her residence surrounded by family. 
On Sept. 9, 1930, Marilynn was born to Joseph and Irene (Lola) Lynard in Blooming Prairie. She attended Blooming Prairie High School, graduating in 1948. Marilynn received her Teacher’s Certificate from Austin College.

Gregory Edwin Cooper, 63, Dodge Center

Gregory Edwin Cooper (Coop) died unexpectedly of natural causes on March 28, 2020 at his home in Dodge Center at the age of 63.

Daryl Peterson, 62, Austin

Daryl Craig Peterson, age 62 of Austin, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020, at his in Austin.
Daryl was born to Marion and Gladys (Seavey) Peterson on Feb. 5, 1958, at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin. He was baptized and confirmed at Red Oak Grove Lutheran Church in rural Austin.

Ann Anderson, 83, Geneva

Ann Eleanor Anderson, 83, of rural Geneva peacefully left this world while surrounded by her husband and children, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
