I was sheltered. Growing up in a small rural community in NE Wisconsin, I wasn’t exposed to many of the problems of the world. We only got three TV stations, and our newspaper was a local weekly. There was no internet, social media, or Google. Things like crime, racism, and famine were not prevalent in my community.

The Kasson-Mantorville Public School Board unanimously selected six semi-finalists to interview for the school district’s superintendent position. The semi-finalists are:

Timothy James Dunn passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 8, 2025. He was born on April 23, 1972, in Sheboygan, WI to James and Denise (Dupas) Dunn. Tim grew up in Sheboygan Falls, WI. He graduated from North High School in Sheboygan. He later moved to Kasson, MN, and married Penny Meyer on May 6, 2000. They were married for 20 years and had 4 children Jacob, Kaitlyn, Kylie, and a son Joshua who passed away at birth.
