As a Science teacher by trade, it is easy for me to identify similarities between the natural world and a high school activities department. Symbiosis is a term that is used to describe two or more organisms that live near each other and benefit from the relationship. For instance, a clownfish living in a sea anemone, or a hive of bees living close to a field of wildflowers.

The following case was heard in Dodge County District Court the week of Nov. 10 with Judge Debra A. Groehler presiding:

Question: As a visitor from Canada, can I use my studded tires in Minnesota. Specifically, driving from Canada to Minneapolis to catch a plane then to drive home again a week later.

Cuts are expected to come to the Byron School District, and some of them could be drastic, after a $800 per pupil local levy ballot measure failed on a 3,159 to 2,283 vote.
