That’s because America’s Got Talent (AGT) returned to NBC for its 12th season.
 
I think one of the main reasons so many people enjoy that show is because we see people pursuing their dreams and rising to the occasion.
 

Throughout the course of his senior season, Kasson- Mantorville baseball player Brendan Knoll has been a leader on and off the field. 
 
As a four-year starter, he’s been able to help some of the younger players adapt to playing baseball at the varsity level while backing his experience up by becoming one of the top pitchers and outfielders in the state.
 

Former Kasson-Mantorville wrestler Noah Ryan helped the Minnesota Blue team win the Freestyle championship at the Junior National Duals in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 24. The recently graduated senior joined a star-studded lineup that included several other elite wrestlers from around the state.
 

Matt Norland was sworn in Monday as a Kasson policeman.
The 26-year-old from Owatonna took the oath from Dodge County Assistant Chief Judge Jodi Williamson while family members looked on at the county courthouse in Mantorville.
“I was nervous,” he said. “But it’s a very good experience.”

The chairman of the Steele County Board has been accused of improprieties involving his personal business and a county road project.

An area youth has been seriously injured in an ATV crash in Dodge County.
The crash happened around 9:15 a.m. Friday in the area of 575th Street and 260th Avenue outside of Mantorville.
