Margaret ‘Peggy’ Elizabeth Andreason, 77, Byron

Margaret “Peggy” Elizabeth Andreason, 77, a lifelong resident of rural Byron, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Pine Haven Care Center in Pine Island.
Peggy was born on October 29, 1944, in Rochester, to Clarence and Cristella (Nereson) Starkson. She married Dean Richard Andreason on September 5, 1981.

Jacqueline Lee Evarts, 79, Milltown, Mass.

Jacqueline Lee Evarts died on May 26, 2022 in Milltown, Mass. Jackie and her husband, Jay Daly, lived in Linden Ponds in Hingham, Mass for many years before her death.
She was born on August 10, 1943, in Rochester, to Garth and Betty Evarts. She was the oldest of four daughters and lived her early life on the family farm outside of West Concord.

Alice May Stoppel, 81, Kasson

Alice May Stoppel, age 81, of Kasson, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022, in her home.
Alice May Ries was born on May 12, 1941, to Vernon and Anna (McFadden) Ries in Kasson. She attended Kasson High School.
She met Lauren Ralph Stoppel through her sister and brother-in-law (Ruth and Elmer Peterson) who were working with Lauren at the time. They were united in marriage on July 23, 1961 and had four daughters.

Kurt Daniel Lubahn, 54, Kasson

Kurt Daniel Lubahn unexpectedly passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, at Saint Marys Hospital, Rochester, while surrounded by family and loved ones. Kurt was a long-time believer in organ donation and was honored with an Organ Donor Walk of Honor while giving his last gift to many.

Walter Henry Konken, 89, Austin

Walter Henry Konken, age 89, of Austin, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at St. Mark’s Living in Austin.
Walter was born May 13, 1933, to Henry and Anna (Tammen) Konken in rural Brownsdale. He attended District 42 Country School until the 8th grade. He then attended Austin High School in 1948 and graduated in 1952.

Linda M. Wilson, 72, Northfield

Linda M. Wilson, age 72, of Northfield, passed away at Reflections End of Life Care on the Three Links Campus.
Linda was born November 10, 1949, to Phillip and Lillian (Westin) Johnson, in Hayfield. She attended Hayfield High School graduating in 1967. She then attended Mankato State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in education in 1972.

Joel Oscar Bigelow, 68, Kasson

Friday, May 27, 2022, we lost our beloved father, Joel Oscar Bigelow. He died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Wasioja. Our dad, papa, brother, friend, and mentor leaves us too soon and he will be forever missed.
