Bernice Julia Fast, 92, of Hayfield, MN formerly of Kasson, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield.
Bernice was born on September 30, 1931, on a farm near Windom, MN to Jacob and Helen (Fast) Duerksen.  She attended school in Mountain Lake and had a long walk to school.  She remembered the last block before home she could smell her mother’s homemade vegetable soup and fresh homemade bread.

Ron was born on August 19, 1949 in Spring Grove, Minnesota to Vernon and Janice (Fossum) Soland.  He was one of five children.  Growing up in Harmony, Minnesota he quickly found a lifelong love for fishing with his father.  After graduating from Harmony High School in 1967, Ron attended Austin Vocational School for Carpentry, graduating in 1969.  He joined Brunsvold Builders in Harmony as a carpenter until shingling on a bitterly cold day in J

Steven Douglas Mundy, 72, of Owatonna, MN, died Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
He was born October 22, 1950, in Rochester the son of Albert and Carol (Auman) Mundy, the fifth of nine children. He grew up in Hayfield where he graduated from high school.

Lorraine E. Ludwig, age 93, of Byron, MN, passed away, October 15, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Marion Theodora Bungum, 98 years plus, passed away Sunday, October 15th, 2023, in the presence of family at the family farm in Dodge County.
