Edward L. Meyer

Edward Louis Meyer, 74, of Kasson, passed away on Feb. 9, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – St. Marys Campus in Rochester.
 
Edward was born March 8, 1943 in West Concord, to Bernard and Irene (Van Den Hemel) Meyer. On Feb. 5, 1966, he married Sheila Starkson and they later divorced. 
 

Eugene D. Trom

Eugene D. Trom, 89, of Blooming Prairie, passed away at his home Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018. 
Eugene D. Trom was born on March 14, 1928 in rural Blooming Prairie on the family farm in Westfield Township (Dodge County) to Elmer and Marie (Wilson) Trom. He attended Westfield Country School and graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1948. 

Sharon Seedorf

Sharon Kaye (Larson) Seedorf, 76, of Woodbury, formerly of Albert Lea died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 while at her winter home in Lake Havasu, Ariz.
Sharon was born at home in Freeborn County on April 26, 1941. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1958. Sharon married Gary Seedorf in 1963 at Grace Lutheran Church and they lived outside of Alden until moving to Barstow, Calif. in 1965. 

Otilla Anderson

Otilla Anderson,107, lifelong resident of Blooming Prairie and currently of Mankato, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018 at Oaklawn Healthcare Center in Mankato.
Funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 at Community Lutheran Church in Geneva. Burial was held at the Danish Baptist Cemetery. 

Bernice Lermon

Bernice L. Lermon, 93, of Dodge Center, found her way home to be with her husband John, and son David, along with her parents, brothers, and sisters on Feb. 4, 2018.

Allen Dennis Johnson

Allen Dennis Johnson, 93, of Blooming Prairie, passed away Monday, Jan. 29, 2018 at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie. 
Allen Dennis Johnson was born on Jan. 2, 1925 in rural Blooming Prairie on the family Century Farm to Elmer and Edna (Dennis) Johnson. He attended District 47 country school and Blooming Prairie High School. At a young age Allen’s father died and he began working on the farm. 

Lois Nash

Lois Arlene Nash, 88, of Dodge Center, passed away on Jan. 24, 2018 at Whitewater Health Services in St. Charles.
 
Lois was born Oct. 4, 1929 in Olmsted County to Miles and Frances (Currier) Brannan. She married Kenneth L. Nash on Feb. 18, 1948 in Menomonee Falls, Wis.  They made their home in Ripley Township, Dodge County, where they farmed for many years.
