Since the end of the summer, KMTelecom Stadium has received a facelift. After its parking lot was paved to create more spaces and give the area around the field a more visually pleasing look, the second addition of a new press box finally opened its doors on Homecoming weekend on September 28.
 

For the first time in nineteen years the City of Dodge Center is looking for a new City Administrator. 
The search comes after previous administrator Lee Mattson left to take a new post with Waseca during the summer. 
While the previous search under Mayor Bill Ketchum was done internally the council and city decided to use a search firm that specializes in pairing up administrators with cities. 

 
Assassins is a dark Sondheim musical review that spans many decades and many different musical styles.  It depicts 9 individuals who attempted to assassinate American presidents.  These people all believed in the American dream, but eventually felt they were being cheated of their happiness.  They felt their voices were not being heard.  And someone was to blame!
 

In the world of sports, playing on your home court or field means everything. A loud home field advantage can help make life miserable for opponents not only affecting their ability to communicate, but also bring a certain energy to the home team.
 

In 2014 after receiving a early childhood grant a Kasson-Mantorville Community  Ed Committee came up with an idea to collaborate with the Kasson Public Library to start a national program called “1000 Books before Kindergarten” in the community. 
Ever since then it has been a success. 
Since the beginning of the program in the Kasson-Mantorville community over 142 children and their parents have participated.

Last year when Hayfield’s High School Band teacher passed away unexpectedly days before its winter concert, neighboring school district Blooming Prairie stepped up by having its teacher help out with the concert. 

A couple of years ago buildings next to the American Legion in Claremont were torn down due to a number of different reasons.
At the time there was no plan in place on what would go there. 
Then during one of their meetings members of the American Legion decided to brainstorm to come up with a way to build a Veterans Memorial/Park for the community.

Last year when the Triton School District Referendum votes were counted they came up just twenty-five votes short. 
This fall after revamping the ballot questions the school district hopes that the votes will be in their favor this time around.
One of the main reasons why the school district has been pushing for a referendum for the last three years is due to the lack of funding from the state for small schools like Triton. 

Thousands of students across Minnesota are singers but almost none of them can say that they sang the National Anthem for a Presidential Rally.
Triton senior, Taylor Young can after being selected to sing the National Anthem at the President Donald Trump Rally in Rochester last Thursday. 
“ I feel humbled and blessed that I had the opportunity,” Young said after singing in front of thousands of people.
