Valentine-themed benefit this weekend for Mantorville Theatre Company

A show full of song and frivolity will be held this weekend to benefit the Mantorville Theatre Company.
Triple Berry Pie, Et cetera! is a Valentine-themed event at the Opera House in Mantorville. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 18.
Triple Berry Pie is a trio of women, Anjanette Bandel, Ruth Casper, and Karen Masbruch, who have been entertaining folks in three-part harmony for the past eight years. They are assisted on the keyboard by Susan Shephard, (Triple Berry Pie ‘A La Mode!).
Intermixed with the vocal entertainment will be the improv comedy team of Nick Mezacapa, Jerry Casper, and Gregory Miller.
Tickets for the show are $20, plus a cash bar served by the Hubbell House.
Mantorville Theatre Company will begin its 2024 season April 5-21 with “Church Basement Ladies: The Last (Potluck) Supper” by Greta Grosh with music and lyrics by Drew Jansen and is directed by Cheryl Frarck.
“The Wedding Will Out or Night in the Nutt House” by Greg Miller is scheduled for Oct. 11-27, and “A Sherlock Carol” by Mark Shanahan and directed by Bill Schnell will be onstage Nov. 22-Dec. 8.
The Summer Melodramas include “The Inheritance or Not Dead Yet,” written and directed by Nan Strauss, June 14-30; “100% Chance of Deceit (Say it Ain’t Crow!) by Victoria Carlson and directed by Jen Gall, July 12-28; “Grapes of Woe or Please no Wining,” written and directed by Sandra Hennings Miller, Aug. 2-18. There will be a student-led show Aug. 23-24.
The Opera House is located at 5-5th St. in Mantorville.
