Then and Now

This house was moved in September 1983 to make room for the new Kasson State Bank Drive-up facility being built on South Mantorville Avenue. The house was moved to an empty lot behind the Kasson Motor Mart on the west side of Mantorville Ave. Several years later, the drive-up building was moved north across the street and the bank built a new facility but still maintained the main bank on 203 West Main Street. Home Federal Savings Bank bought the Kasson State Bank in 2015 and in 2019 remodeled the drive-up with additional office spaces and closed the main street bank. The former bank building is now the location of McKern Financial Group Inc. Domino’s Pizza and Preferred Heating and Cooling are located in the former Kasson Motor Mart.
