Susan "Sue" Virnig, 60, Dodge Center

Susan “Sue” Marie Virnig, 60, of Dodge Center, MN passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Sue was born on May 27, 1961, in Lanesboro, MN to Gerald John and Ruth Louise (Colgan) Virnig.  She grew up in Dodge Center and attended school there, until she met Jim Plank in 1981.  Sue and Jim had three children.  She had many hobbies including playing cards, fishing, camping, playing bingo, and bonfires surrounded by family and friends.  Sue had a contagious laugh and loved many.
Sue is survived by her lifelong partner, James (Jim) Plank of Dodge Center, MN; daughters, Jennifer Plank of West Concord, MN, Carri (Michael) Peters of Dodge Center, MN, and Rose (Rudy) Bailey of Kasson, MN; sisters, Marianne (Dan) Champagne of Bemidji, MN, Sandy (Wayne) Sanford of Dodge Center, MN; four grandchildren, Kendall, Raydenn, Raelynn, and Rena; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Bill, Bob, and Pete. A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at the Dodge Center Community Center located in the City Hall building, 35 E Main St Dodge Center, MN 55927.
