Shirley F. Worden, 66, of Hayfield

Shirley F. Worden, 66, passed away on Sunday evening, October 11, 2015, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus. Inurnment was in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield.
A  memorial service for Shirley F. Worden was held on Oct. 16, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Hayfield. Rev. Dr. Steve Robertson officiated.  
Shirley was born on Sept. 8, 1949, the daughter of Kenneth and June (Varpness) Monson in Marshall, Minnesota.  She graduated from high school in Echo, Minnesota.   Shirley was united in marriage to William “Bill” Worden on May 24, 1971.  Shirley worked at IBM for many years and then followed her passion for animals and worked at various vet clinics.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, baking, gardening and antiquing.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Bill Worden, Hayfield; daughters, Stacy Hynes, San Francisco, California; Bridget (Peter)  Hubbard, Hudson, Wisconsin; Cassidy (Randy) Rieck, Owatonna, ; Three  grandchildren, Cody, Abbigail and Addison; two sisters, Linda (Larry) Moeller, Dent, Minnesota; Brenda Larivee, Galesville, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Ken Larivee.
