Richard Emmett Pollock, 87, Hayfield

Richard Emmett Pollock, 87, passed away on November 21, 2023, at his home in Hayfield.
Richard was born on February 20, 1936, the son of Sidney and Elnora (Noward) Pollock in Waterville, Ohio.
 He graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in Whitehouse, Ohio. He served in the Navy for three years. Richard was united in marriage to Kathryn Lehman on November 18, 1961.
In 1972, Richard and Kathryn moved to Minnesota and he farmed for many years with his buddy, Blue.  Richard worked at Jerome Foods and drove school bus for the Hayfield School District.
He enjoyed horses, spending time with Amish friends, going to auction sales, traveling and his main hobby was farming.
Richard is survived by his wife, Kathryn Pollock, Hayfield; children, Glenn (Kimberly) Pollock, Hayfield; Jacquelyn (Emil) Miller, Blooming Prairie; Scott (Kathy Warner) Pollock, Lonsdale; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; and sister, Mary Williams of Waterville, Ohio.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 brothers Waldo, Burton and Merlin, and great grandson Nicholas.
Visitation will be 10:00 -11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 2nd Street NE in Hayfield.  The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father William Becker celebrating. There will be military services by the Hayfield American Legion Rothie Post #330.
