Potter earns seventh at state speech competition

Kasson-Mantorville junior Savannah Potter performed well at the Minnesota State Speech competition, placing seventh in the Creative Expression category.
Savannah Potter, a junior at Kasson-Mantorville High School, earned a Top 10 finish at the Minnesota State Speech competition, placing seventh in the Creative Expression category.
Seniors Arllo Gall and Reese Hiatt received the Minnesota Speech Coaches Association All-State Speech award.
In addition to the success at the state tournament, KMHS is sending four students to the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions (NIETOC) May 8-10..
This is the second year the speech team has earned enough points throughout the season to make it to the national event.
KM will be represented by sophomore Cooper Worden in prose, sophomore Ambrey Bernatz in drama, junior Zoe Wallenstein in humor, and senior Arllo Gall in prose.
