Pamela Jean (Schroeder) Milde, 74, Mantorville,

Pamela Jean (Schroeder) Milde, 74, of Mantorville, MN passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Pamela was born on November 4, 1951, in Austin, MN to George and Lavonne Schroeder. She was the younger sister of Georgia (Gary) Myers and the older sister of Kerry (Sidney) Schroeder and Rolfe (Sue) Schroeder. Pamela began her career at the Mayo Clinic in 1972, and dedicated many years of service as a registered nurse before retiring in 2020.

On November 1, 1980, Pamela married Steven Milde. Together they raised three children, Seth (Alana) Milde, Sara Milde, and Stefani (Curt) Wilson. Known lovingly as “Grandma Pan”, she adored her grandchildren, Olivia Markwardt, Holten Markwardt, and Sawyer Schlafmann; as well as her bonus grandchild, Hayden Wilson. They were truly the light of her life.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father, mother, and father-in-law.

A celebration of Pamela’s life will be held in the near future.
