Operation Christmas Child

South Zumbro Lutheran Church Jr. League members packed shoe boxes for Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child program after the Sunday morning service on Nov. 10. Members of Grace Methodist Church in Kasson have also packed 60 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The National Collection Week for the boxes is Nov. 18-25. In Dodge County the collection site is at Bible Lutheran Church, 11 1st Ave. SE in Dodge Center. Boxes will be accepted Monday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, November 19, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. More information about Operation Christmas Child is available at the Samaritans Purse website, samaritanspurse.org.
