The following cases were heard in Dodge County District Court the week of June 19 with Judge Jodi L. Williamson presiding:
Jesus Chacon, 28, Kasson, previously appeared and was convicted of felony sale of narcotics. He was sentenced to $1,155, 10 days in county jail, no possession of firearms, chemical dependency evaluation, no alcohol or controlled substance use, do not enter liquor establishments, obtain GED, cognitive skill training, 100 hours of community service and 5 years of supervised probation.
Derek A. Gilbertson, 40, Mantorville, previously appeared and was convicted of felony theft by swindle. He was sentenced to $1,000, 2 days in county jail, no possession of firearms, no alcohol or controlled substance use, chemical dependency evaluation, cognitive skill training, mental health evaluation, community service and 5 years of supervised probation.

Trespassing: Deputies responded to a subject trespassing in the 64100 block of State Hwy. 56 in Dodge Center at 9:02 a.m.
Fleeing: At 7:57 p.m., a subject fled from deputies at 200th Ave. and 625th St. in Dodge Center.
June 25
Suspicion: Deputy responded to a suspicious person in the 13100 block of 585th St. in Claremont at 12:31 a.m.
June 26
Suspicion: Deputies responded to suspicious activity in the 72800 block of 200th Ave. in Hayfield at 2:56 a.m.
Suspicion: At 11 p.m., deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 26300 block of 740th St. in Hayfield.
June 27
Fire: Deputies responded to a fire in the 200 block of 3rd St. W. in Mantorville at 9:14 p.m.
June 28
Fraud: Deputy took a fraud report in the 300 block of 2nd St. NW in Dodge Center at 1:13 p.m.
Fire: Deputies responded to a fire in the 300 block of 4th St. NE in Hayfield at 6:07 p.m.

Medical: At 6:13 a.m., a medical emergency occurred on Sunset Ave.
Marijuana: Police found marijuana during a traffic stop in the 400 block of Mantorville Ave. S. at 8:12 p.m.
June 23
Hit and Run: At 5:15 p.m., a hit and run accident occurred on 2nd St. NW.
Medical: Police assisted with a medical emergency on Meadowlark Ave. at 10:22 p.m.
June 24
Animal: At 8:11 a.m., an animal bite occurred in the 2100 block of 8th Ave. NE.
Medical: Police responded to medical emergencies at the Kasson Clinic at 1:14 p.m., the 200 block of 1st St. NE at 5:13 p.m. and the 700 block of Veterans Memorial Highway W. at 8:51 p.m.
Suspicion: Police found a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of 8th Ave. NW at 10:21 p.m.

Animal: At 3:01 p.m., a citizen reported a sick raccoon in the 500 block of 11th Ave. NE.
Tampering: Officer took a report of vehicle tampering on Veterans Memorial Highway E. at 3:13 p.m.
Noise: Police received a noise complaint from the 500 block of 21st Place NE at 11:06 p.m.
June 26
Medicals: Medical emergencies occurred on 4th Ave. SE at 1:48 a.m. and the 900 block of Main St. W. at 7:33 a.m.
Environment: At 11:27 p.m., officers responded to a subject burning unauthorized items in the 300 block of 6th St. SW.
June 27
Narcotics: Officers responded to a narcotics incident in the 300 block of 6th St. SW at 7:01 a.m.
Medical: At 12:15 p.m., a medical emergency occurred at Prairie Meadows.
Animal: Police received a report of an injured raccoon in the 900 block of Mantorville Ave. N. at 9:39 p.m.
June 28
Fire: Officers responded to a fire in the 700 block of 8th St. SE at 1:45 a.m.
Crash: At 8:55 a.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred at Mantorville Ave. S. and Main St.
Medical: Officer assisted with a medical emergency at Prairie Meadows at 4:49 p.m.
Intoxication: Officers responded to an intoxicated subject in the 500 block of Veterans Memorial Highway W. at 11:31 p.m.
Hit and Run: At 10:42 p.m., a hit and run accident occurred in the 400 block of 8th Ave. NE.
Animal: Police received an animal complaint from Main St. E. at 11:52 p.m.
