The following case was heard in Dodge County District Court the week of June 5 with Judge Jodi L. Williamson presiding:
Samuel Z. Ramirez, 40, Minneapolis, previously appeared and was convicted of felony threats of violence. He was sentenced to $1,155, 61 days in county jail, no possession of firearms, chemical dependency evaluation, no alcohol or controlled substance use, do not enter liquor establishments, mental health evaluation, cognitive skill training, 100 hours of community service and 5 years of supervised probation.

Hit and Run: At 10 a.m., a hit and run accident occurred in the 100 block of 16th St. NE.

Suspicion: Police responded to suspicious activity at 4th St. NW and 1st Ave. NW at 12:58 a.m. and the 400 block of 6th Ave. NE at 2:56 p.m.
Medicals: Medical emergencies occurred in the 800 block of 6th St. NW at 9:50 a.m. and the 1000 block of 5th Ave. NW at 12:03 p.m. and 2:59 p.m.
Welfare: Officer conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of 3rd Ave. NW at 8:21 p.m.

Fraud: Police received a report of online fraud in the city at 7:04 p.m.
Suspicion: Police found suspicious activity in the 500 block of 16th St. NE at 9:53 p.m.

Threats: Officers responded to a subject making threats in the city at 6:11 a.m.
Suspicion: Police responded to suspicious persons in the 600 block of Veterans Memorial Highway W. at 9:58 a.m. and the 600 block of 1st St. NW at 11:51 a.m.
