Shelly Lynn Jensen-Germundson, 56, Mantorville

Shelly Lynn Jensen-Germundson, 56, of Mantorville, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
Shelly was born on October 6, 1965, in Austin, to Marvin and Renee (Haney) Jensen. She graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 1984.
She then went to Cosmetology school and worked in that career for eight years.
Shelly loved children and ran a daycare at her home in Mantorville, and then Amazing Kids Childcare Center in Byron. She later worked at a daycare in Owatonna. On September 26, 1998, she married Bradley Germundson at the Kasson United Methodist Church. She was a devoted member of the Kasson United Methodist Church and also worked as their church secretary.
Shelly’s life revolved around her family; they always came first. She loved spending time and having fun with her family and friends.
She enjoyed camping, playing bingo, and playing games. She looked forward to attending stock car races and road trips with her family. She loved anything rustic. She will be deeply missed.
Shelly is survived by her husband, Bradley Germundson; children, Emmalea Jensen-Germundson of Kasson, Chloe Germundson of Mantorville, and Olivia Germundson of Mantorville; parents, Marvin and Renee Jensen of Kasson; sister, Rhonda (Mark) Larsen of Kasson; brother, Darin (Carrie) Jensen of Kasson; sister-in-law, Robin Germundson of Kasson; brothers-in-law, Scott (Eileen) Germundson of Wanamingo, and Dana (Linda) Germundson of Kenyon; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Weston Germundson; grandparents, Jonas and Loretta Haney and Arnold and Borghild Jensen; uncle, Richard Magnuson; and nephew-in-law, Marcus Tolbert.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Kasson United Methodist Church, 801 5th Ave NW in Kasson, with Pastor Jacob Hanson officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7th St SE in Kasson and one hour prior to the service at the church. Masks will be required. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville.
